Why I do this work

Dealing with health anxiety from a young age, I focused on developing healthy lifestyle habits as a coping mechanism to manage my fear of being sick. I dove deep into nutrition, exercise, sleep practices, and stress management. Through trial and error, personal work, and a lot of research, I learned many different strategies to optimize wellbeing in a systematic and healthy way. This eventually led to me pursuing a Master’s in Nutrition so that I could support others with their health goals as well. My goal is to share my knowledge with you and support you in your own health journey. I truly believe that food is medicine, and taking care of our bodies is the nicest thing you can do for yourself.

Above all else…. I LOVE FOOD. I love to cook, bake, and eat. Learning how to cook and bake in healthy ways has been an integral part of my personal journey. From learning how to make veggies that actually taste good to baking gut-healthy whole wheat sourdough, I have developed strategies to make cooking at home easy, fun, and delicious. These are the types of topics I love to discuss with my clients. I love talking about, thinking about, seeing, smelling and tasting food, and am lucky to be able to turn my passion into my profession.

What to Expect

  • A welcoming and, more importantly, fun environment to create interpersonal relationships

  • A 1.5-hour initial appointment so I can gather as much information about you as I can

  • Topics to expect include nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress and anything else you find to be important for your unique case.

  • I will do my absolute best to make you feel comfortable

  • At the end of our first appointment, we will discuss 3-5 goals for you to work on throughout the span of 3-4 weeks

  • I am always available through email, phone call, or messaging for any sort of support

  •  At the end of the 4 weeks, we will have a 30-45-minute follow-up appointment to discuss what went right and what went less right.

  • We will develop strategies to continue what went right and problem-solve for what did not work as well.

  • From there, we will continue to have follow-up appointments every 4-8 weeks as we track your progress and accomplish your goals.
