My Background
Certified Nutrition Specialist (specialized certification for Master’s Level and above nutrition professionals)
Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist in the state of Pennsylvania
Clinical Nutritionist for 3+ years at Philadelphia Integrative Medicine, a premier functional medicine practice in greater Philadelphia
I hold a Master of Science in Nutrition, with advanced studies in herbal medicine, autoimmunity, sports nutrition, lab assessment, digestive wellness and disease, women’s health fertility and hormone balance, Lyme disease and whole foods cooking.
I've studied under and attended courses by pioneering leaders in Nutrition and Functional Medicine like Liz Lipski, Paul Pitchford, Terry Wahls, AnneMarie Colbin, Rebecca Snow, Aviva Romm, and Deanna Minich.
Why I do this work
I am an imperfect human in constant practice. My work with nutrition has been shaped by my own experiences and the experiences of the people I love.
Suffering with IBS, anxiety and hypoglycemia throughout my early life, I was driven to find the underlying mechanisms causing my ill-health. I knew, deep down, that the answer was within. If I could figure out what was out of balance, I could change my life for the better.
There is no greater honor than contributing to another’s well-being and ability to thrive.
